Error description

  • You may observe some runtime code backlevelled after fix pack
    installation.
    
    During the installation of fix packs, previously installed
    interim fixes may be incorrectly uninstalled after the
    installation of the fix pack, resulting in the backlevelling of
    runtime code.
    Local Fix:
    You can uninstall all interim fixes manually prior to
    installing a fix pack

    During the installation of fix packs, previously installed
    interim fixes may be incorrectly uninstalled after the
    installation of the fix pack, resulting in the backlevelling
    of runtime code.
    

Problem conclusion

  • If applying this interim fix on fix pack 7.0.0.17, Installation
    Manager will properly uninstall interim fixes and apply the
    fix pack in the correct order. No additional user action will
    be required.
    
    If upgrading to 7.0.0.19 or 7.0.0.21, please ignore the warning
    message and just uninstall this interim fix. Because this fix
    delivers code meant for WebSphere Application Server's
    Installation Manager plugins, not for WebSphere Application
    Server runtime, the fix remains effective even if Installation
    Manager uninstalls the interim fix.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 7.0.0.23.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates

Temporary fix
