Error description

• This APAR will fix the following application update or install
  problems when using the monitored directory deployment with
  properties files.
  
  1. Updated application failed when deleting a single file
  from an existing application
  
  2. Update full application failed with StringIndexOutOfBound
  error.
  
  3. No server target found when starting an application.
  
  4. High cpu usage during application install or update using
  monitored directory deployment to install or update an
  application.

  This APAR has fixed several application install or
  update problems when using the monitored directory deployment
  service with properties files to install or update applications.
  
  1. Update application failed with "AdminException: ADMA0166E:
  Duplicate file web.war/com/ibm/addMe.jsp for add operation"
  error when deleting a single file from an existing application.
  
  2. Update a full application failed with a
  StringIndexOutOfBound error. It is a bug in the property file
  based configuration code.
  
  3. "No server target found for application app1" error was
  thrown in SystemOut.log when starting an application. The
  application was not able to start because no deployment target
  is specified for the new module in the properties file when
  updating a new module to an existing application.  A warning
  message is added to warn you that the application may not be
  installed or updated properly because no target is specified
  in the properties file.
  
  4. High cpu memory are used during application install or
  update using monitored directory deployment to install or
  update an application. The high cpu usage was caused by the
  property validation being enabled.  The property validation
  will be disabled with the fix to reduce the memory usage and
  time to install or update an application.

• The fix has resolved several application install or update
  problems when using the monitored directory deployment with
  the properties file to deploy or update applications or
