APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • 1. Click the link for "More info..." associated with Install
    Package "DMZ Secure Proxy Server for IBM WebSphere Application
    Server Trial", message "No more information document found
    for the selected package." is shown.
    2. Click on start menu on Application Client on linux
    operating systems and it does not launch the Information center.
    3. Installer does not block you from installing products
    on machines with Operating System release levels lower than the
    minimum required one.

    1. DMZ Secure Proxy Server offering can not load the moreInfo
    bundle properly.
    2. The browser launcher script is missing on Application Client.
    

Problem conclusion

  • 1. The offering file for DMZ Secure Proxy Server offering is
    corrected to load the right moreInfo bundle.
    2. The browser launcher script is added back to the payload so
    that the start menu item can call the missing script.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 8.0.0.1.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
    page for delivery information:
