APAR status
Closed as program error.
Error description
The service client details page is missing the information in the policy set attachments table on the service client details page. There should be 4 lines in the table and when you first go there, they are empty. Selecting the "Attach Client Policy Set" menu button and selecting a ps will cause an error message. Then selecting the testBus link and selecting the breadcrumb to come back will usually make the table have the contents when you return. If you leave the panel and come back, they are gone again.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application * * Server V8.0 using the administrative * * console to attach policy sets to Web * * Services Notification (WSN) clients * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: After creating a WSN service and * * service point, going to the Services * * Service clients > client panel does * * not list the attachments for selection * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The code was defaulting to application behavior and looking for modules. WSN has no modules so exceptions were thrown.
Problem conclusion
Added code to clean up module name to null (not "") for WSN and not make calls that are specific for applications in the policyset code. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 8.0.0.1.
