**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application * * Server V8.0 * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When runtime provisioning is * * available on a server, and you * * attempt to configure a server to run * * the Job Scheduler the required * * services for this function do not * * start. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The runtime bundles required for the Modern Batch functionality mentioned in the Problem Description are not being started when runtime provisioning is enabled on the server hosting the Job Scheduler. This prevents configuration of the Job Scheduler and use of this function.
Problem conclusion
The jar files which indicate which runtime services should start, have been updated to indicate that the necessary services start properly with runtime provisioning enabled.
