Problem conclusion
Beans can depend on references and if they try to use references in destroy methods, runtime exceptions occur. The shutdown of references has been moved to after the beans are destroyed to prevent this. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 1.0.0.7 and 8.0.0.2.
