Error description

• A variable with a circular reference is one that directly or
  indirectly references itself.  Normally the processor detects
  these variables and emits an error message but in some cases
  the processor will instead throw a StackOverflowError.

Problem conclusion

• The processor has been fixed to detect these cases and emit an
  error message instead of throwing a StackOverflowError.
