  Extension points to SDO/X are required by WebSphere Process
  Server to customize behavior in the BO/X layer. New mechanisms
  and adjustment to existing mechanisms required to support more
  WebSphere Process Server scenarios. These include access to
  the TypeRegistry and adjustments to the extension points for
  change summary handling. These changes have no impact on the
  SDO API in WebSphere Application Server V8.0., as they apply
  only to a special mode/layer used by WebSphere Process Server.
  

Problem conclusion

• The required changes to extension points have been implemented.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 8.0.0.1.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
