Error description
Removed Service Data Objects (SDO) data objects in change summaries lose type on cross-scope copy
Local fix
Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: IBM Business Process Manager and * * WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus * * customers using Lazy Parsing Mode * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Types of deleted data objects in a * * change summary may be lost after * * round-tripping * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The type of a deleted data object in a Service Data Objects (SDO) change summary may be lost when the SDO datagraph is saved and then re-loaded or copied to another scope. This is because the data object appears out of context, so the XML parser cannot validate the object with the correct type.
Problem conclusion
An xsi:type attribute is now added to deleted data objects such that during a round-trip the XML parser will be able to validate the data object and apply the correct type annotation. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 8.0.0.1.
