Error description

  • A local variable with the name 'index' referenced within
    a xsl:for-each, xsl:for-each-group, or xsl:analyze-string
    will cause an internal error and processing will terminate.
    

Local fix

  • Change the name of the local variable to something other than
    'index'.

Problem conclusion

  • The problem is fixed and there is no longer any restriction on
    where a local variable named "index" can be used.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
