Error description

  • When running the command "$AdminTask help
    configEventServiceDerbyDB" in an wsadmin console, instead of
    receiving an explanatory text, the description for the
    parameter jdbcDriverVersion contains the text:
    DB_JDBC_DRIVER_VERSION_DESCRIPTION.
    The problem also manifests for the following tasks:
    "configEventServiceDB2DB", "configEventServiceDB2ZOSDB",
    "configEventServiceInformixDB", "configEventServiceSybaseDB".

    When running the command "$AdminTask help
    configEventServiceDerbyDB" in a wsadmin console, instead of

Problem conclusion

  • The appropriate help description was added for
    jdbcDriverVersion parameter:
    "This optional parameter allows specifying the JDBC driver
    version to be used when defining the JDBC provider for the
    data sources. Based on the selected driver version, the JDBC
    provider will be configured with the appropriate properties."
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 8.0.0.2. Please refer to the Recommended Updates
