Error description

When a SOAP fault is modified by JAX-RPC application handlers,
the updated SOAP fault is not correctly procssed by the
JAX-RPC Web services engine.

When a SOAP fault is modified by JAX-RPC application handlers,
the updated SOAP fault is not correctly processed by the
JAX-RPC Web services engine.

Problem conclusion

JAX-RPC Web services engine has been updated to process the
SOAP fault after invoking application handlers.  A SOAP fault
is mapped to either a javax.xml.rpc.soap.SOAPFaultException, a
service specific exception class or RemoteException.

A service specific exception fault created in the handler was
not being propagated back to the client.

This new behavior needs to be enabled by setting JVM property
enableHandlerRewriteFault to true.  By default, this property
is not set and there is no behavior change.  This property
can also be set programmatically with
MessageContext.setProperty(String name, Object value) API.
For example:

MessageContext.setProperty("enableHandlerRewriteFault",
Boolean.TRUE);

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 6.1.0.43, 7.0.0.21, 8.0.0.2.  Please refer to the
