Local fix
Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of the OSGi application feature * * of * * IBM WebSphere Application Server that use * * composite bundles including web application * * bundles. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A composite bundle that includes a web * * application bundle must always import * * javax.servlet.* packages to function. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** For internal reasons certain packages are added to the classpath of a web application bundle including the javax.servlet.* packages. Rather than sourcing these packages directly from the ExtClassloader they were previously sourced from the Equinox framework bundle. In the case of a composite bundle the framework bundle might not have access to these packages. In particular a web application bundle that only includes static content has no need to import any javax.servlet classes and hence there should be no requirement on the composite to import these packages.
