APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The value for the WSDL location is stored as a property in the
Message Context as a String. WS-ReliableMessaging requires this
to be a URL when processing the message in a sequence. The
property is incorrectly cast to a URL rather than creating a
URL from the String representation of the property.

    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
The WSDL location property as part of the
Message Context is stored as a String. When
    WS-ReliableMessaging
attempts to restore it, it assumes it is of type URL and
therfore tries to cast it to a URL rather than a String.

Problem conclusion

  • The code has been altered to ensure that it correctly decodes
WSDL locations when stored as a String.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 7.0.0.23 and 8.0.0.3. Please refer to the Recommended
