APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When a call is terminated, a CANCEL is not sent to the
    far end until after 180 seconds.  Trace shows that a ProxyTimer
    is being created for the 180 seconds, and when this expires,
    the CANCEL is sent. However, the parallel proxy scenario is
    not being used.

    Incoming Cancel request for a request that was proxied and is
    not handled by the server is causing a NullPointerException
    since it does not have an application attached
    

Problem conclusion

  • When a Cancel message arrives for a request that does not
    belong to the server the server is not trying to find the
    approriate application. This has been corrected.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 8.0.0.2.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
