Error description

Adminconsole unable to show certificate under truststore due to
alogarithm problem.


Some CA or vendor certificate uses alogarithm Elliptic Curve
Digital Signature Algorithm ( ECDSA) and WAS only handles DSA
and RSA

Local fix

you can view the certificates using keytool

Problem summary

*                      there is a non supported encryption     *
*                      algorithm.                              *

If a signer certificate uses Elliptic Curve Digital Signature
Algorithm (ECDSA), security code fails to extract key width
information from the certificate. Thus, it returns none of the
certificate information to the Administration Console. As a
result, Administration Console displays an empty list of signer
certificate.

Problem conclusion

With this fix, the security code now returns proper key width
of ECDSA.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 7.0.0.21 and 8.0.0.2.  Please refer to the Recommended
