APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• There are 2 problems with adjustPort pseduo-attribute of the
  server type:
  
  1. The _ATTRIBUTE_METAINFO_IS_OBJECT value set to true even
  though this attribute is a simple boolean and not a nested
  config object type
  
  2. getAttributes and getAttribute are missing support which
  means the attributes can not be queried unlike other
  pseuo-attributes like serverType.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The support for the adjust port         *
  *                      pseduo attribute to the server type     *
  *                      was incomplete and has caused an        *
  *                      InvalidConfigDataTypeException error    *
  *                      when configuring a simple               *
  *                      boolean attribute. It also did not      *
  *                      allow you to query the adjustPort       *
  *                      value via AdminConfig or config         *
  *                      service API.                            *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  The existing config service code did not handle the adjustPort
  attribute completely and it has caused an
  InvalidConfigDataTypeException error when configured as a
  simple boolean attribute in a server.  The problem had been
  worked around in the wsadmin code but it was not complete.
  

Problem conclusion

• Enhanced the existing config service code to support setting
  the adjustPort option during server creation.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 8.0.0.2.  Please refer to the Recommended
