Error description

  • Problem is invalid session when trying to log into WSRR
    console.The reason is due to session not containing the
    username/userid/accessid. The username/userid/accessid is
    showing in the session internal after security  integration is
    enabled.The issue is occuring only with Security Auditing is
    enabled.

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A HTTP session might be created         *
    *                      unexpectedly when Security Auditing     *
    *                      is enabled.                             *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    When security auditing is enabled, the auditing code logs HTTP
    session ID string which can be acquired by invoking
    HTTPServletRequest.getSession() method.
    This method creates a session if valid session doesn't exist
    in the http context. Later, if the auditing code is trying to
    access this session id from different security context,
    Session Manager will throw an exception due to invalid context.
    

Problem conclusion

  • With this fix, HTTP session is no longer be created by Security
    auditing code.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 7.0.0.21, and 8.0.0.2.  Please refer to the
