Error description

  • An application server stop working during accessing a hashMap
    object. When this condition happens following information is

Problem summary

    *                      while accessing a Hashmap object.       *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

    There are multiple threads which are accessing the same
    hashmap object. Since HashMap object is not thread safe, some
    unexpected behavior is observed.
    

Problem conclusion

  • With this fix, A HashMap object was replaced by
    ConcurrentHashMap object which is thread safe.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 7.0.0.21 and 8.0.0.2.  Please refer to the Recommended
