Error description
The postinstaller's logging creates a log called postinstall.log for each of PreConfigActions, WebSphere, PostConfigActions and any other products that make use of the postinstaller. Some parts of the log are concatenating so that the WebSphere postinstall.log contains some info from PreConfigActions and the PostConfigActions log contains information from both PreConfigActions and WebSphere. These logs should be completely separate from each other and not overlap.

Problem conclusion
A code change was made to ensure that the logging information displays in only the appropriate logs. APAR PM49011 is currently targeted for inclusion in Service Level (Fix Pack) 8.0.0.2 of WebSphere Application Server V8.0.
