Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application * * Server 8.0 * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Application deployment fails because * * two application resources (for * * example, resource-ref, env-entry) * * incorrectly compare as not equal. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** Application deployment fails because two application resources (for example, resource-ref, env-entry, etc.) incorrectly compare as not equal. Specifically, a resource which has binding data is incorrectly flagged as not equal to another resource with no binding data. This applies only to resources with names that start with java:module, java:app, or java:global, where multiple resources defined with the same name must be equal. The error is similar to the following: ADMA7102E: Resource conflict detected for resources with the name java:app/resource_ref between application resources in ejb3_assembly_appres_warejb,ejb3_assembly_appres_warejb_web.war and ejb3_assembly_appres_warejb,application.xml.
Problem conclusion
Resource comparison logic has been corrected. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 8.0.0.2. Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for delivery information: http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=180&uid=swg27004980
