Error description
The following error can be seen: 8/23/11 11:32:50:781 EDT] 00000078 ConfigFileHel W exception caught looking for hpel server org.eclipse.emf.common.util.WrappedException: java.io.IOException: The system cannot find the specified file, either the filename is too long on Windows system or run out of file descriptor on UNIX platform. java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\WebSphere8001\AppServer\profiles\Dmgr01\wstemp\92668751\works pace\cells\dabtcCell11\nodes\dabtcNode13\servers\Sname\hpelMode l.xml (The system cannot find the file specified.) at com.ibm.websphere.resource.WASResourceSetImpl.getExistingResourc e(WASResourceSetImpl.java:200) at com.ibm.websphere.resource.WASResourceSetImpl.createResource(WAS ResourceSetImpl.java:232) at com.ibm.ws.console.core.ConfigFileHelper.loadResource(ConfigFile Helper.java:3430) at ------------------------------------------------ Also - A second problem exists for this same APAR: After creating the server template from adminconsole and navigating through the created template server we are asked to save the configuration changes even when no changes are made. The following steps can be used to recreate the problem. 1. Create a template from an existing server through the console panel Servers -> Server Type -> WebSphere application servers -> click on "Templates" button to create a server template using existing server. 2. Save the configuration 3. Navigate to Servers -> Server Type -> WebSphere application servers. Click on "Templates" and select the created server template to navigate into the template. 4. When you navigate out of that page you are required to save configuration changes even if there were no changes. When you Review which files are going to be updated they are: templates / servertypes / APPLICATION_SERVER / hpelModel.xml templates / servertypes / APPLICATION_SERVER / server.xml
