PM50980: JAVASCRIPT ERROR ON MICROSOFT INTERNET EXPLORER WHEN SELECTING "APPLICATION BINARIES" IN ADMINISTRATIVE CONSOLE

Error description

When you select "Application binaries" button from the
administrative console,a JavaScript error occurs on Internet
Explorer. This is issue does not occur on FireFox.


The procedure of recreating this JavaScript issue is as follows:

From administrative console..
1. Click Applications > Application Types > WebSphere enterprise
applications > application_name (i.e DefaultApplication) >
Application binaries
2. "!Done" is displayed on the bottom line of Internet Explorer.
3. Click "!Done"(script error), then the following error message
is displayed.

The field ID for setting the focus is invalid.

Problem conclusion

Code has been changed to set the correct field ID for setting
initial sfocus.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 7.0.0.23 and 8.0.0.3.  Please refer to the
