Problem conclusion

  • The JAXBContext creation did not always handle inner classes
    correctly. As a result, the logic was rejecting valid
    JAXBContext objects. This logic for inner classes had been
    corrected.

    There is more than one APAR with a similar symptom. This APAR
    will address only the issue concerning the handling of inner
    classes. Here is a sample trace line that shows the inner
    class not found and may be fixed by this APAR:

    [10/26/11 7:17:35:361 CDT] 0000002b  1 UOW=
    source=org.apache.axis2.jaxws.message.databinding.JAXBUtils
    class=org.apache.axis2.jaxws.message.databinding.JAXBUtils
    method=containsClasses org= prod= component=
    thread=[WebContainer : 0]
              The context does not contain
    com.xyz.OuterClass.InnerClass Primary JAXBContext:

    There is a trace line above this line which displays the "text"
    object and if this problem exist, the class mentioned above
    will be shown as com.xyz.OuterClass$InnerClass

    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix packs 7.0.0.23 and 8.0.0.3. Please refer to the
