Error description
An SDO DataObject may return the wrong ChangeSummary instance after being moved, if the move requires the addition of an xsi:type attribute. This could result in changes not being logged properly.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: Users of the SDO API in IBM WebSphere * * Application Server V8.0 and WebSphere * * Process Server * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: SDO DataObject may return incorrect * * ChangeSummary after move * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** If a DataObject d is a member of a tree which has a change summary element, d.getChangeSummary() will return the ChangeSummary instance for that tree. If d is subsequently moved to another tree with a change summary element, d.getChangeSummary() may then incorrectly return null rather than the ChangeSummary instance of the destination tree. This could cause unexpected behavior in user applications.
Problem conclusion
DataObjects now correctly inherit ChangeSummary instances when moved into a destination tree with a change summary element. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 8.0.0.3.
