Description:
A step of application updates can generate a
ZipException.


org.eclipse.jst.j2ee.commonarchivecore.internal.exception.Reopen
Exceptio
n: IWAE0016E IOException occurred while reopening
WEB-INF/lib/xxxx.jar

Stack trace of nested exception:
java.util.zip.ZipException: error in opening zip file
at java.util.zip.ZipFile.open(Native Method)

The above exception occurs from a redundant processing step
which should be removed.

A ReopenException may be thrown during application update
because of an unnecessary open of an archive when the archive
is either corrupted or not finished being updated.
The following exception is thrown:
org.eclipse.jst.j2ee.commonarchivecore.internal.exception.Reopen
Exception: IWAE0016E IOException occurred while reopening ...

Problem conclusion

The code that was opening the archive unnecessarily has been
removed.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 7.0.0.25 and 8.0.0.4.  Please refer to the
