Error description

When both the Request timeout and timeToLive properties are
specified for a SOAP/JMS Web Service client, the Request timeout
is incorrectly set to a value equal to the value of timeToLive.
This could cause Web Services requests to timeout unexpectedly
or not timeout at all, depending on the value of timeToLive.

When both the Request timeout and timeToLive properties are
specified for a SOAP/JMS Web Service client, the Request
timeout
is set to a value equal to the value of timeToLive.
This could cause Web Services requests to timeout unexpectedly
or not timeout at all, depending on the value of timeToLive.

Problem conclusion

Code is fixed and when the JVM property
com.ibm.ws.webservices.JMSUseIndividualtimeToLive is set to
true the request timeout is not set to timeToLive time.  The
default value is false.

operating system.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 7.0.0.23 and 8.0.0.3 Please refer to the Recommended
