Error description

The messages cannot be consumed from the destination due to the
following FFDC

CWSIK0022E: The connection is closed to messaging engine
<Messaging Engine Name> and cannot be used.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When running in a managed environment   *
*                      the exception CWSIK0022E can be seen    *
*                      causing a repeated failure to connect   *
*                      to a messaging engine.                  *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
A exception occurs indicating that the connection to the
messaging engine has been closed. This exception is capture in
an FFDC:
CWSIK0022E: The connection is closed to messaging engine
<messging_engine_name> and cannot be used.
This exception occurs repeatedly and is caused because of
incorrect logic to determine if the connection is closed or
not.

Problem conclusion

The logic to determine if the connection is closed or
not has been corrected.

The fix for this APAR is included in fix pack 7.0.0.23 and
8.0.0.3.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for
