    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
In a Publish/Subscribe environment with security enabled, the
following exception is observed when a message ib publised to
    a topic:
    00000050 exception 1
    com.rbsg.application.cws.security.was.vmm.CWSAdapter
    getEntityByUniqueName
    com.ibm.websphere.wim.exception.EntityNotFoundException:
CWWIM4001E The 'uid=<unique_id>' entity was not found.
The above exception is observed due to an explicit conversion
of the username to lowercase. Since the username has been
converted to lowercase, when validated against the repository
which is case-sensitive , the above exception is observed

Problem conclusion

  • A custom property "sib.processor.userNameCaseSensitive" has
been introduced, which when set to true would ensure that the
username is not explicitly converted to lowercase but rather
retains the username as is and then validates the username
    against the repository.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 7.0.0.25 and 8.0.0.5. Please refer to the
