    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
As of current designWASReqURL cookie is set to root path all
the time, therefore if there are two applications, which are
protected by Form Login, and a user is trying to these two
applications from the same browser at the same time, the
valuse of WASReqURL might be overwritten by one of
    applications.
As a result, a request from a user who logs in an application
might be redirected to the other applications.

Problem conclusion

  • With this fix, application unique path name can be set to a
cookie to let browser holds more than one cookie. To enable
this function following custom property needs to be set to a
    toplevel security custom properties:

    Name : "com.ibm.websphere.security.setContextRootForFormLogin"
    Value : "true"

This APAR requires changes to documentation.

NOTE: Periodically, we refresh the documentation on our Web
site, so the changes might have been made before you read this
text. To access the latest on-line documentation, go to the
    product library page at:

    http://www.ibm.com/software/webservers/appserv/library

The following changes to the z/OS version of the WebSphere
Application Server Version 7.0 Information Center will be made
    available in September, 2012.

The topic "Security custom properties" will be updated to
include the following description of the new
    com.ibm.websphere.security.setContextRootForFormLogin security
    custom property:

    com.ibm.websphere.security.setContextRootForFormLogin
This property is used to set a unique path name whenever a
    WASReqURL cookie is generated.
A browser can hold multiple WASReqURL cookies as long as each
cookie has a unique path name. When this property is set to
true, a unique path name is set whenever a WASReqURL cookie is
generated. Therefore, if you have more than one application
that is using Form Login as a login method installed on the
same application server. you should specify this property as
one of your security settings for that application server, and
    set the property to true.
    Default: false

APAR PM63544 is currently targeted for inclusion in
WebSphere Application Server Fix Packs 7.0.0.25, 8.0.0.5, and
    8.5.0.1.

Sysroute APAR PM64957 will be used to deliver this fix in
