    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    Application deployment fails with validation error expecting a
    JNDI name for a EJB reference binding. But the JNDI name is not
    mandatory for the EJB reference bindings in a EJB 3.0 module.

Problem conclusion

  • The fix addressed the issue and it will not mark the JNDI name
    as mandatory for EJB reference bindings in an EJB 3.0 module.

    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 7.0.0.25. Please refer to the Recommended Updates
