Error description

If the request header is exactly 16K then the plug-in truncates
it and removes the message body. In addition WebSphere AppServer
may return a 503 (Service Unavailable) response.

The IBM HTTP Server for z/OS V5.3 WebSphere Plugin fails to
extract request information from the IBM HTTP Server for
z/OS.  The plugin is using a buffer to extract
the request infornation, and if that buffer fills up
exactly, the plugin could try to use the empty buffer to
extract more data which will fail. The plugin would continue,
but may not have extracted all the necessary information about
the request.

Problem conclusion

The plugin will add an additional check to determine if a new
buffer needs to be allocated when the prior buffer is
completely filled.

APAR PM59751 is currently targeted for inclusion in Fix
Pack 7.0.0.25 of WebSphere Application Server V7.0 and Fix Pack
8.0.0.4 of WebSphere Application Server V8.0.
