An SMF related variable is processed while uninitialized, and
in some scenarios this processing causes an ABEND0C4 to occur.

Problem conclusion

Modifications were made to code to properly initialize the
internal variable causing the observed abend.

APAR PM60166 is currently targeted for inclusion WebSphere
Application Server Fix Packs 6.1.0.45, 8.0.0.5, and 8.5.0.1.


The fix will also be delivered as sysrouted APAR PM60169 in
WebSphere Application Server V7.0 Fix Pack 7.0.0.25 for z/OS.
