Server reverts to myFaces JSF implementation

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application * * Server v8 JavaServer Faces (JSF) 2.0. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The Application Server reverts a * * cluster member, configured for SunRI * * JSF, to the default MyFaces JSF * * implementation. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** A member of a cluster, configured for SunRI JSF, emits the following exception to the system log while servicing requests against a JSF Web application. The runtime reverts to the default MyFaces JSF binaries when processing a change to the member server configuration, where the change set does not also contain a change to the cluster configuration. The scenario exercises a path in the selective bundle metadata processing that unexpectedly resets the cluster member to the MyFaces JSF binaries.
Problem conclusion
Apply APAR PM60707 to modify the selective bundle metadata handler to not reset a cluster member to MyFaces during a configuration change that effects the cluster member (server) descriptor, but not the cluster descriptor. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 8.0.0.3.
