Client is unable to view the SytemOut.log jvm log in basic mode in the Runtime tab in WebSphere Application Srver v8 Administrative Console using navigation path: Troubleshooting --> Logs and trace --> server_name --> JVM logs --> Runtime tab You are directed to 'Switch to HPEL mode' screen after specifying a range to view the logs. The actual lines shown will be from line number twice as big as the specified one to the last number.
Problem conclusion
