Error description

  • In the HPEL API implementation of a class for remote repository
    reading, thread IDs were incorrectly converted to strings as

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    HPEL API implementation incorrectly converts thread IDs to
    strings as a decimal value whereas the server expects these
    strings to be in hexadecimal format. This results in filtering
    on an incorrect thread ID when its value is bigger than 9.

Problem conclusion

  • This fix corrects the integer to string conversion used in HPEL
    API methods accepting thread ID as a parameter.
