PM63708: SIP SESSION DATA REPLICATION DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE WORKING

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• During testing if an application server in the replication
  domain is brought down the proxy send to the another server and
  it says it can not find the application session.  When turning
  on tracing we see "... loadDataFromSipXml Application xyz is not
  distrubted although the container is set to replication enabled
  mode"

Problem summary

  *                      Container didn't read "distributed"     *
  *                      paramether from the sip.xml in a SAR    *
  *                      application.                            *

  The SipContainer failed to parse the sip.xml file when
  installing SAR application.
  

Problem conclusion

• The SipModule variable wasn't used in non-JSR 289 applications
  and this caused a failure when parsing the sip.xml later. The
  fix was to initate SipModule for all type of applications.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix packs 8.0.0.4 and 8.5.0.1.  Please refer to the Recommended
