Error description

WebSphere Application Server sends the 100 Continue response as
soon as the request arrives.  The purpose of the 100 (Continue)
status (see section 10.1.1) is to  allow a client that is
sending a request message with a request body to determine if
the origin server is willing to accept the request (based on
the request headers) before the client sends the request body.
In some cases, it might either be inappropriate or highly
inefficient for the client to send the body if the server will
reject the message without looking at the body.

The HTTP Channel sends the 100 Continue when the request
arrives on the server, before sending it for validation. The
100 Continue is sent before analysis has been done on the
request to ensure it is valid which causes the client to send
the request body before it is determined if the request should
be rejected.

Problem conclusion

The HTTP Channel introduced a new custom property
"Send100ContWhenBodyRequested" with possible values of "true"
or "false". The default value is "false" and can be set here:

Application Servers > {Server Name} > Web Container Transport
Chains > {Chain Name} > {HTTP Channel Name} > Custom Properties

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 7.0.27, 8.0.0.6, 8.5.0.2.  Please refer to the
