Problem summary

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: 200 OK retransmission after ACK         *
    *                      received in a dialog when previous      *
    *                      re - INVITE ended with error            *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

    On the same dialog, when a previous reINVITE ended with an
    error, for a new reINVITE the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP)
    Continer continues and retransmits 200 OK even after an ACK is
    received.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Now, when ACK is received, the timer that is responsible for
    the 2xx retransmission is cancelled immediately.
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix packs 8.0.0.4 and 8.5.0.1.  Please refer to the Recommended
