OAuth is an open standard for delegated authorization. The
OAuth authorization framework allows a user to grant a
third-party application access to their information stored
with another HTTP service without sharing their access
permissions or the full extent of their data.

Problem conclusion

The APAR adds new function to WebSphere Application Server to
support OAuth 2.0. With this APAR, WebSphere Application
Server can be configured as OAuth 2.0 authorization service
and resource service.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 7.0.0.25, 8.0.0.5 and 8.5.0.1.  Please refer to the
