Error description

• Liberty profile is unable to parse configured values for the
  expiration attribute of the ltpa configuration element which
  include time units such as m (minutes) or h (hours).

  Customer has used a well known String value shorthand to
  represent the LTPA timeout value, for example, 2h to represent
  2 hours but the runtime appears to not recognize the value
  specified.
  This is because the runtime was coded to accept only Long
  values representing a time in minutes.
  

Problem conclusion

• A change has been made to the metatype to allow users to
  specify time duration values, such as 2h, while defaulting any
  unitless values to minutes to match the existing behavior.
  
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 8.5.0.1. Please refer to the Recommended Updates page
