• NullPointerException may occur when performing operations on a
  Principal injected by Contexts and Dependency Injection (CDI).

  The mechanism used to track the Principal bean injected via CDI
  does not properly track between requests to the same EJB.  This
  can lead to a NullPointerException if later requests reference
  the Principal bean.
  

Problem conclusion

• Corrected the tracking of Principal bean so that it is updated
  for subsequent requests to the same EJB.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix packs 8.0.0.4 and 8.5.0.1.  Please refer to the Recommended
