Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application * * Server V7.0 Feature Pack for XML * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Certain default namespace conflicts * * were not resolved prior to * * serialization. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** Certain serialization optimizations that re-use original bytes were not fully functional because not all default namespace conflicts were resolved at runtime.
Problem conclusion
The default namespace conflicts are now resolved prior to serialization, thus allowing for the optimizations to remain in place. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 1.0.0.15 for the XML Feature Pack.
