APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• XSLT transformation in mediation module of BPM v8 advanced
  cannot handle null values (xsi:nil="true") for datatypes that
  do not allow empty content. Moving the element containing such
  type does not honour the xsi:nil="true" attribute and results
  in an exception.
  

Local fix

• workaround
  User can change the Move mappings in the Mapping Editor to the
  date/dateTime fields individually, rather than on the containing
  element.

  The xsi:nil="true" property wasn't taken into account when
  checking if the empty datatype allowed empty content.  This
  resulted in an exception and blocked the application from
  continuing.
  

Problem conclusion

• The xsi:nil property is now properly processed before throwing
  an exception for disallowed empty content.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix packs 8.0.0.5 and 8.5.0.1.  Please refer to the Recommended
