Problem conclusion
The JSF 2.0 Portlet Bridge was updated to use the WebSphere Application Server classloader rather than the current object class loader to load the JSF component and application classes. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix packs 8.0.0.4 and 8.5.0.1.
