Error description

Plugin should stop an IHS start if there is a DNS failure and
ignoreDNSFailures is set to False.

Under the previous conditions, the plugin is not loaded and
essentially leaves IBM HTTP Server active to only serve static
requests from it's own location.

Problem conclusion

A new property has been added
KillWebServerStartUpOnParseErr and ONLY affects IBM HTTP
Server.  This can be set within the administrative console
under
Web Servers -> [your web server] -> plugin properties ->
custom properties.  It uses a
true/false setting and if not entered it will default to
false.

If KillWebServerStartUpOnParseErr is true and ignoreDNSFailues
is false, then IBM HTTP Server will not start.

Note:  This does not have any impact when the plugin attempts
a reload of the XML.  It only affects the initial start of IBM
HTTP Server.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 6.1.0.45, 7.0.0.25, 8.0.0.5, and 8.5.0.1.  Please
