The tool reduces the amount of time it takes to collect problem determination data, and the effort required to send the appropriate log information to IBM Support. The tool is not installed when the Liberty profile is installed with the IBM Installation Manager.
Problem conclusion
The IBM Support Assistant Data Collector tool is now installed when the Liberty profile is selected in IBM Installation Manager. A script called isadc.bat/isadc has been added to Liberty profile's wlp/bin directory to launch the tool. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 8.5.0.1.
