* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Some EDR paths are not be used          *
*                      correctly for locating resources.       *

Extended Document Root (EDR) paths can be listed in the web
application's ibm-web-ext.xmi.  These listing allow the
application server to search the specified paths for
web applications resources and files using such methods as
getRealPath.
In Liberty profile some of these EDR paths are not being used
correctly for locating resources.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Liberty profile EDR code was changed to determine resource
locations with the different way the Liberty profile
servers deploy applications compared to the traditional profile.


The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 8.5.0.1. Please refer to the Recommended Updates page
