    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    The problem only occurs with WABs that uses Spring-DM
    components and are configured to use
    org.springframework.osgi.web.context.support.OsgiBundleXmlWebApp
    licationContext as its web application context.
    The OsgiBundleXmlWebApplicationContext looks for the
    BundleContext object under the
    "org.springframework.osgi.web.org.osgi.framework.BundleContext"
    attribute in ServletContext. That BundleContext is used to
    discover and load Spring-DM's various classes and resources.
    If that attribute is not set, a wrong BundleContext object
    might be used resulting in errors during Spring-DM
    initialization.

Problem conclusion

  • Exposed the BundleContext of the web application bundle under
    "org.springframework.osgi.web.org.osgi.framework.BundleContext"
    attribute in the ServletContext.
