    An unavailable servlet does not giving a completely consistent
    unavailable response message across multiple attempts to
    access it.
    The response is always that it is unavailable, but depending
    on how the servlet was written, and how it failed, the
    response message and/or response error codes could be
    different.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The state of the servlet is now correctly reset when it is
    determined it is unavailable, in this way the next response
    would get the same error message and processing.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 8.5.0.1. Please refer to the Recommended Updates page
